What you need to know

Cleaning

Cleaning is included in the rental price when you hire with us. No need to lift a finger, we’ve got the skills! However, if we receive returns that have strong smells or stubborn marks, an additional cleaning fee may be charged. These party crashers often include red wine spills, fake tan tumbles, make up mishaps and even encounters with adventurous foods. We want you to have an absolute blast at your event while also taking care to keep our outfits in top-notch condition. 

Unexpected Damage

While accidents can happen it’s important to take responsibility. If by any chance an item suffers some unexpected damage, please reach out to our amazing team at Eden ASAP. The sooner we are informed, the better we can navigate the damage. Remember, leave the cleaning to us. Trying to fix the item yourself might end up incurring further damage and higher cleaning fees.

In those rare instances where an item cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced, the customer will be responsible for covering the full RRP cost paid by Eden dress hire to replace the item. Additionally, if the returned item is damaged and is booked for future hire the customer will be accountable for any loss of income incurred because of having to cancel these bookings.

Booking a dress sesh

Step one: Explore our range and select up to 4 items for your dress sesh!

Step two: Select a time that works for you to come into our studio, enjoy a champagne and sip as you try your selected dresses.

Step three: Lock in your dress sesh with a $1.00 holding fee. Once your fee is paid you will be emailed a confirmation of your session time to the email address provided.

T&C for your dress sesh

To ensure a smooth and seamless experience for your dress sesh a $1.00 holding fee is required. This fee will be deducted from your total hire purchase. If you don’t find the perfect outfit during your session, your $1.00 deposit will be refunded within 24 hours.

We understand that plans can change so if you decide to cancel your dress sesh, we kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. This allows us time to accommodate other clients who may be waiting for an appointment time. If you fail to notify us within the designated time frame this will result in a cancellation fee of $25 which will be deducted from your nominated bank card used to process the $1.00 holding fee.

Returns

All our hire items are 4-day hires. Longer hire times can be arranged where needed. All Items are to be returned to Goldiluxx, located at shop 3c Quay North Building, 59 Clarence Street Port Macquarie and placed in the Eden dress hire shoot. Our trading hours are 9am-5pm Monday – Friday and 10am-5pm Saturdays.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for any hire purchases. If you have made a mistake or changed your mind on an order, we will offer you a store credit to the value of your hire which can be used on another hire item.

All you need to do is reach out to our incredible Eden team within 24 hours of hiring your item and we will action your store credit. Sadly, if you fail to touch base with us within the 24 hours after purchase, we are unable to provide this alternative.

Late fees

It’s essential that all hire purchases are returned within the hire timeframe. Every day a hire item runs late you will be charged a $30 late fee. If your late return also interferes with another order, you will also be charged a second hire fee to cover the income lost on that order. Additional fees incurred by late returns will be deducted from the bank card provided at the time of purchase.

Please carefully review these terms and conditions before using the services of Eden Designer Dress hire. By accessing and using any section of our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions set by Eden designer dress hire, kindly refrain from using our hire service. 

In consideration of the payment to be made by you and the agreements outlined within these terms and conditions, Eden designer dress hire undertakes to provide you with the selected item for rental purposes. By entering into this agreement, you acknowledge that you are renting the item for a specified duration, and the ownership of said item remains with Eden designer dress hire. 

To secure the hire of the item for a period of four days, you agree to make full payment of the hire price. Once the hire price has been paid in full and you have accepted these terms and conditions, you are not eligible for a refund of the hire price. Should you wish to cancel your hire purchase with Eden Dress Hire, it is essential that you notify us within 24 hours of hiring the item. If cancellation occurs within this timeframe and the hire item is returned to Eden Designer Dress hire, you will receive a credit note of the equivalent value, which does not expire. Alternatively you may opt to exchange the item for another within this period. Any price difference for the exchanged item will be required to be paid, and if the item is of lesser value, you will receive a credit note for the difference. 

Please be informed that Eden Designer Dress hire cannot assume liability for event cancellations or sicknesses that may occur. 

If you decide not to try on your hire item before purchase, it implies your acceptance of the item in its current condition. If the item does not fit you or you have a change of heart, the same 24-hour time frame applies to request an exchange or opt for an in-store credit. Please be aware that no refunds will be provided in such cases. 

By entering into this agreement, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any loss, destruction, or damage to the hired item starting from the time of collection to the time of return. The confirmation of the item return is subject to Eden designer dress hire receiving the item in accordance to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. 

You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for the loss or damages incurred to the item hired from the time of collection to the time of return. It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is kept in good condition and protected from any harm or damage during the rental period. The hired item will be considered returned only when Eden Designer Dress hire has physically received the item(s) in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the agreement. 

You acknowledge and agree that you are fully liable for any damages caused to the hired item. Such damages include, but are not limited to, stains, colour distortion, tares, and smells that cannot be remedied. In the event of such damages, you will be responsible for paying either the full recommended retail price of the item or the total cost of repairing the damages, at the discretion of Eden Designer Dress hire. 

In addition to this you agree that you will be charged for any loss of income incurred by Eden Designer dress hire because of damages impacting future hires. 

You acknowledge that the cost of dry cleaning is included in the hire price and will be managed by Eden Designer Dress hire. Please ensure that the item is returned unwashed. 

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you agree to return the hired item in person to Goldiluxx, Shop 3C Quay North Building, 59 Clarence St, Port Macquarie NSW 2444 during the following opening hours: 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. 10am-3pm Saturdays. It is your responsibility to ensure the item is returned within the four days hire period. If you fail to return the hired item within the specified time frame, a late fee of $30 will be charged for each additional day until the item is returned. If your failure to return the item effects future bookings, you will be charged the full rental fee on top of the original rental fee to compensate the loss in income to Eden Designer Dress hire as well as the inconvenience caused to other costumers. 

For insurance purposes you agree that Eden designer dress hire will reattain a copy of your credit card details for the duration of the hire period. This is done to ensure the security and protection of both parties involved. 

If you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of the hire agreement, including, but not limited to timely returns and/or damaged items Eden designer dress hire reserves the right to take the necessary steps to collect any outstanding amounts owed to us. This may include, but is not limited to, legal action and the use of a third-party collection’s agency. 

Eden Designer Dress hire reserves the right to make amendments or modifications to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notification to you. It is your responsibility to regularly review the terms and conditions and stay up to date on any changes. Continued use of our service following any revisions constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.
